What can I keep in My Prayers?
You can create a private prayer on its own or from a devotional. Add notes, updates, Scripture, reminders, and a status such as ongoing, changed, answered, or released.
Does saving a prayer share it?
No. A private prayer never becomes shared automatically. Sharing creates a separate prayer-request preview so you can review the wording and recipients first.
Can other people see my Circles?
No. Circles are private lists that help you select recipients. A recipient cannot see the Circle name, its members, or who else received a request.
Are there group chats?
No. Every shared interaction stays one-to-one. This protects privacy and keeps prayer from becoming a performance or comparison space.
How do I add someone?
Use their QR code, invitation link, or friend code. They must accept before either person can share through the connection. Glean does not offer people search or suggested friends.
Can a conversation begin without a prayer request?
Yes. Once a connection is accepted, either person may begin with an ordinary message. The conversation remains one-to-one and intentionally limited.
What happens when someone prays for my request?
They may pray privately, send “I prayed,” or include a short encouragement. If they send an acknowledgement, it appears in your one-to-one history and may send a notification based on your settings. Glean does not show prayer totals.
Can I remind someone else to pray?
You can send a request or update, but you cannot schedule another person’s reminders. Each recipient privately chooses whether and when they want to be reminded.
What does Archive do?
Archive organizes your own view. It does not notify recipients or end their existing access. Use Withdraw or Manage recipients when you want to change access.
Can I save a prayer someone wrote for me?
Yes. Choose “Add to my prayers” to create an independent private copy. The sender is not notified, and future changes to your copy remain private.
What does Guided Prayer Reflection send to AI?
Only the text you approve when requesting the next response. On iPhone, speech is transcribed on the device and raw audio is not sent to Glean. The web version begins with typed text.
How much does Guided Prayer cost?
Each successful AI response uses 0.125 credit. Writing, speaking, transcription, and editing are free. Failed responses are not charged.
Is Glean a crisis or counseling service?
No. Glean is a reflection and prayer tool. It does not provide emergency response, professional mental-health care, medical advice, or pastoral oversight.
